Collection: What is the Sustainability?

Sustainability:

Sustainability is like an effort and real practice for maintaining and protecting the world, planet, environment, animal and human from the process of unlimited productions By changing or shifting the resources for higher-value resources but without destroying or endangering natural ecosystems either compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.

It needs to understand the relationship between economic growth and development and environmental degradation also,  an additional attention from  present generations' responsibility to regenerate, maintain and improve environmental resources for use by future generations

Sustainable living:

Sustainable living is a way of being a better, responsible person for past and future generations, environment, people , our own and mother nature.

We will learn in this procedure, how we can live with less damage and more benefit for our planet and environment.

Everyone has the right to live, grow and meet the needs BUT, those rights should not prevent the others Human, animals, plants and next generation to live and meet their needs.

The sustainability challenges related to climate change and environmental degradation, get our attention to the idea that the individual choices don’t make the difference, but the individual choices  like what we are doing in daily living, do make a big difference.

Our individual choices or acts are valuable for our Home and family, our  Community, and all people, for having a stronger movement with the goals of reducing human impact on the environment. So that's why sustainable living is important.

Sustainable lifestyle:

It says that our lifestyle should not disrupt the future and the possibility of life for other human, animals and plants.

we have several different sustainable  lifestyle:

Minimalist: less is more, they believe to simple side of everything  like doing Don't waste food, Eat less meat, Recycle and reuse, Grow your own produce, Donate unused items, Buy fair trade products, Wear sustainable clothing, Use Eco-friendly cleaning products

No-Waste/Low-Waste: less impact of the waste to the earth  like doing Go paperless, Don't waste food, Use reusable alternatives, Recycle and reuse, Wear sustainable clothing

Footprint: less footprint to environment; like Carbon Foot Print, Water foot Print like doing  Save water, Drive less, Save energy or Use renewable energy, Buy fair trade products, Use Eco-friendly cleaning products

To reach a sustainable  lifestyle, the best way is to think before doing anything, think for best action on each step of the life. We should consciously decide and correct our own worldview to live with wisdom.

Everyone who tries to improve the wisdom and conscience which  are the most important in our life, they reach a  sustainable  lifestyle. Sometimes, it is a decision between the good and better or bad and the worst, so wisdom and conscience will help us in this case.

In this lifestyle, the earth, environment and keeping safe and maintenance of mother nature, are important values. This is a win-win path to save the value of keeping the world calm and strong against the things which threaten the planet.

Sustainable development:

Sustainable development comes from the ideas about sustainable forest management which were developed in Europe during the 17th and 18th centuries in response to growing awareness and improving the knowledge of the decreasing of timber resources

it is to meet your current needs without stopping or affecting  the others’ quality of life specially next generation and  Disrupting needs.

It is all about the well being of everyone, environmentally responsible, equal opportunities, social cohesion and energy savings!

There are 3 pillars of sustainable development: economic growth, environmental stewardship, and social inclusion. Those are concerning the  three primary goals of sustainable development which are less use of natural resources, reducing or zero  harm to the environment, more environmentally friendly methods.

There are 4 levels/factors of sustainability:

world level: it is included with general goals and plans to implement sustainable development all around the world.

it needs the world and each country's commitment in the way in front.like UN SDG with 17 goals to be reached by 2030.

national level: it is for a country  and for the compatriot and country man.

position level: It works for small group of people like colleague, friends, family.  like doing compost in the family.

individual level: running a sustainable lifestyle is based on this level. It starts with improving the knowledge and wisdom of one and changing the worldview and encouraging the one to be a better one!

Sustainable Development Goals:

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were born in 2012  at the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development to  set of universal goals that meet all environmental, political and economic challenges facing our world.
